- We strive to develop women of poise and purpose. The Delta Sigma chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha has been on Saginaw Valley State's campus since 1997 and was the first sorority to begin greek life. We are very excited you have taken the time to explore our site we hope you enjoy it.
About Alpha Sigma Alpha
- Developing women of poise and purpose who are known for their character and concern for others.
- Since its founding in 1901 at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, the sorority has grown into a strong organization consisting of more than 150 collegiate and alumnae chapters nationwide.

- The purpose of Alpha Sigma Alpha is to foster close friendships between members and develop women of poise and purpose.
- Alpha Sigma Alpha was built on the spirit and motto of "aspire, seek, attain".
- Our vision is to cultivate values and ideals in women who are known for their character and concern for others. Alpha Sigma Alpha inspires women to lead, to serve and most of all to make a difference.
